IMPRIMATUR SHEETS

      This section provides pictures of the imprimature sheets as an aid to plateing.

      The pages show the sheets as they exist, (sometimes in sections), and these pictures are in black and white. Also givenat the top of each page are details of the missing impressions, (with links to these items where they have been traced), and details of the colour, watermark possition and if the impressions show an ivory head on the rear.

      Below the list of missing impression check letters is a link to plated examples of the missing impressions. This will show examples from private collectors that have been made available to aid in identification. The hope is that in time, very impression from all the plates will be available for users to compare.

      All of the Line Engraved issues in this section will be incorperated in the "Line Engraved Stastics" DataBase over a period of time as this allows for greater details to be contained in one place. The other issues will remain here for viewing.
